The Risks of Pot Abuse

If you have a drug that is most commonly approved in the United States and around the world, besides alcohol which may be considered a drug, it is pot. Marijuana is a plant that can be used and prepared as a psychoactive drug and as a drug. Many benefit medically from restricted amounts of grass when used to stimulate hunger, ease nausea and vomiting, and reduce persistent pain. But, marijuana is more generally used as a recreational drug. The use of grass is one that as it’s outcomes aren’t nearly as strong or as dangerous as some of the other substances out there more people seem to just accept, though many people stand from the use of drugs. But, this does not mean that the abuse of this substance does not come without its risks of negative effects.

A lot of individuals are aware of the short-term effects of cannabis if it is smoked or eaten. Grass may alter notion and cause feelings of excitement and relaxation. It may make individuals feel as if they have no concerns or cares.

But, as great as this may seem, there are even risks for making use of marijuana in the short term which may include:

* Altered perception

* Storage loss

* Cognitive difficulties and problems

* Lack of coordination

* Elevated heart rate

* Reduced blood pressure

* Nervousness and stress

Now, as pot is abused overtime, these risks become more and more prominent. Obviously, additional risks are bound to increase up. A drug will be persistently put into the body which then affects the head and the human body. How can there not be risks?

As marijuana effects the brain only, the activity is influenced by it on the cells that are on the cannabinoid receptor which effects the areas of the brain that then influence memory, focus, thought, and enjoyment. This can create effects including:

* Hallucinations

* Delusions

* Reduced memory

* Disorientation

Over extended periods useful, these effects may persist even with use, especially impaired memory. However, the risks do not end long, the short term and there – term risks which come with cannabis abuse include effects on the heart. As grass decreases blood pressure and increases heart rate, the risk for heart attack becomes considerably better. These dangers only increase over extended use.

Of course, pot is most commonly smoked. And anytime that something is smoked, the lungs are afflicted, normally in undesirable ways. Even with one time use coughing may continue and burning of the neck can be experienced. But, the negative effects usually do not stop there, other dangers for the lungs include:

* Coughing

* Extra phlegm protection

* Frequent, acute chest ailments

* Lung infections

* Obstructed airways

Allow us also not neglect another big risk, marijuana abuse affects the immunity system. One of the dangers of cannabis abuse includes weakening immune method from combating other illnesses and disorders. This only can lead to a wide variety of undesirable health issues.

Marijuana mistreatment is believed to occasionally lead to cancer. Nevertheless, there is much challenge over this point. Of course, that does not take away the very fact that cancer is a risk of marijuana abuse.

Marijuana is a drug, and it should be handled with all drugs that should be surrounded by the precautions. It may not be as harmful as some of the additional drugs in the marketplace, but it still needs to be utilized with care. Eventually, most people should refrain from using this drug.
